Hex-Out is a highly effective treatment against hexamita also known as "hole-in-the-head disease." Symptoms include small holes appearing in the body or head region, yellow strings of mucus trailing from skin lesions and a hollow bellied appearance. Hexamita often exists as low level infection in the intestines but various factors such as overcrowding, low oxygen levels and poor water quality cause the parasites to multiply. Hex-Out is great for treating of a variety of fish, notably affecting cichlids, discus, angelfish, oscars and gouramis. Ideal for freshwater and marine aquariums. A 10 tablet pack treats 100 gallons.

 FOR AQUARIUM USE.

1)  Remove and discard any carbon from the filter system.

2)  Dissolve one tablet for every 10 gallons (38 Liters).

3)  Repeat treatment after 24 hours. Normally, two treatments are adequate.

4)  A 50% water change is recommended 3-days after no further signs of the infestation is apparent.           

To maintain good water quality use Biozyme (fresh water or salt water).

WARNINGS

Read directions carefully. Do not exceed recommended dosage. Hex-OutTM does not affect plants or algaes, but can affect nitrification. It is preferable to use a separate aquarium or suitable receptacle for treatment rather then use Hex-OutTM directly in an established biological system.
