Most dechlorinators on the market today have no effect on the highly toxic chloramine in city water. When this tap water is added to an aquarium, the chloramine kills fish, corals and live plants. A chemical reaction then gives off deadly ammonia which gives fish little chance of survival. Ammonia Remover is the safe and easy way to neutralize these harmful toxins in freshwater or saltwater environments. It instantly protects fish and invertebrates by quickly eliminating all forms of chlorine, chloramine, ammonia and heavy metals. Ammonia Remover significantly increases the load of fish and livestock that can be safely kept in temporary containers such as small aquariums and shipping bags. It leaves aquarium water fresh, clean and perfectly safe for all fish and aquatic life. This non-toxic formula is phosphate and formaldehyde free is safe for all aquatic life and will not interfere with pH levels or biological cycle. Ammonia Remover is great for treating ammonia build-up in small bowls, desk-top aquariums and all tropical fish systems. 3/4 oz. treats 40 gallons.

> Neutralizes ammonia, chlorine and chloramines
> Instantly detoxifies heavy metals
> Will not cause deadly pH swings
> Safe for biological filtration
> Great for small aquariums and bowls

DIRECTIONS
Before administering any water treatment, it is always wise to check your water quality levels to ensure they are within their acceptable ranges. Use 10 drops per 1 gallon of water. The dosage can be increased or repeated as needed without toxic effects to plants and aquatic life including reef systems with live rock. One teaspoon (5ml) of Ammonia Remover per 10 gallons of water will detoxify 1 ppm ammonia, 3.2 ppm chloramines or 2.1 ppm of chlorine.

WARNINGS
Although harmless, keep out of reach of children. Not for human or drug use. Not for use on fish intended for human consumption. Ammonia Remover is not a medication and is not intended to be a substitute for any chemo-therapeutic agent. This product may reduce medication dyes such as malachite green, methylene blue and potassium permanganate. Ammonia Remover is compatible with ammonia test kits using Salicylate reagents. Do not use with test kits based on Nessler reagents.

CORRECTIVE ACTIONS FOR HIGH AMMONIA LEVELS
Testing for ammonia is extremely important. Ammonia will be elevated during a new tank cycle, but can also be elevated in established aquariums if the aquarium maintenance is not maintained. If water is not changed regularly, filters are not kept clean, if the tank is overstocked, or if medication is used that disrupts the biological cycle ammonia levels can increase. Test immediately anytime you have sick fish or a fish death. Ammonia is measured at parts per million (ppm). Aquarium water quality is critical to the health of tank inhabitants. Lethal levels of ammonia can accumulate rapidly in the absence of true nitrifying bacteria. The ideal ammonia reading should register at "0". If ammonia is present in the aquarium, fish may exhibit the following symptoms: rapid gill movement, clamped fins, bacterial infections and death. It is normal to see the ammonia level rise during the cycling period of a new aquarium. Do not try to lower the ammonia if you are cycling a new tank by using AMMONIA REMOVER, you are only preventing the cycling process from taking place. Using a nitrifying bacteria product such as our BIOZYME will help lower the ammonia without disrupting the cycle of the aquarium.
0.5-1.0 ppm - Reduce feeding, clean filter and siphon gravel to remove excess dirt and debris. Add recommended dosage of AMMONIA REMOVER and use a beneficial bacteria such as our BIOZYME to help lower the ammonia level.
2.0-3.0 ppm - Temporarily stop feeding and perform a 25% water change. Clean filter and siphon gravel to remove excess dirt and debris. Add recommended dosage of AMMONIA REMOVER and use BIOZYME to help lower the ammonia level.
4.0-5.0 ppm - Follow previous steps and complete a 50% water change. Consult a local fish store for advice on correcting imbalance.
6.0-7.0 ppm - This is becoming an extremely lethal level of ammonia for aquatic life. Complete a 75% water change and consult a local fish store for advice on correcting imbalance.
