Ampicillin is a broad spectrum bacteriostatic antibiotic that exerts anti-bacteria action on susceptible organisms. It is effect against a number of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria associated with fish diseases. Use for bacterial infections pop eye, swollen body, bacterial kidney disease, fin rot, Flexibacter infections and septicemia.

Mildly shake bottle before using. Hold back all feeding for 1 day before using. Use Gel-Tek as the only product offered to the fish when fed. Add to the aquarium with the dropper tip on the bottle. Hold bottle 2 inches above the water and squeeze. Offer at least 5 drops per fish twice a day. Repeat every 24 hours for 4 days. For nocturnal fish, add drops at night when the lights are off. Refrigerate after opening. Gel-Tek may dissolve quickly in marine aquariums. All efforts have been made to induce feeding behavior with special additives including APT (Advanced Pheromone Technology). Severely ill fish may not respond to these efforts.

FEEDING TIPS
Gel-Tek is designed and formulated to be used by itself and fed directly to fish. Larger fish have a tendency to overlook the small Gel-Tek droplets in large aquariums. We recommend mixing Gel-Tek with your fish's favorite flake food or pellets. To help keep the ingredients together, put them in freezer for a few hours to allow the mixture to lightly harden. For extremely large fish, try a medical syringe (with the needle removed) or kitchen baster and inject the Gel-Tek directly into the mouth of the fish.
